Life runs more smoothly for everyone when we follow the policies. It’s a way to pay it forward. Do your part and others’ lives are smoother, thanks to each of us.

  1. Client/Renter must never leave the studio unlocked and/or unattended. Door must be shut firmly.
  2. Client/Renter is responsible for ensuring all guests are fully dressed in the hallways or other common areas of the building and may be kicked out of the building if this term is violated.
  3. Client/Renter is responsible for all equipment, facilities, amenities, and the studio itself during their stay. Any loss, damage, or theft of any of the aforementioned properties is the sole responsibility of the Client/Renter, and they will be charged for the amount of replacement/repair immediately.  This does not include the natural failure of equipment such as bulbs, batteries, etc., which is the responsibility of The Covenant Studios to maintain and replace when needed.  Loss or damage of equipment will require a $50 charge in addition to cost of replacement/repair.
  4. Client/Renter is responsible for closure and security of the studio at the end of their session if unaccompanied by a studio representative from The Covenant Studios. If the door is not securely shut, a $50 charge will be made, and the replacement/repair for any loss, damage, or theft as a result of the failure of the Client/Renter to secure the space will be added to that charge.
  5. Rental time ends when the last person in your group walks out of the studio. Please keep this in mind when planning your shoot. If you will need extra time to set up or break down, factor this into your time. A fee of $25 per 15 minutes will be charged for failure to vacate the studio at your designated time. Please be thoughtful of Clients/Renters who have reserved the studio after you.
  6. Client/Renter must report damaged or missing equipment immediately.
  7. Client/Renter must clean and reset the studio after their use. If the studio is requiring cleaning after their session, the cleaning fee will be added and will depend on the amount of work required ($25 minimum). Confetti, glitter, flour, or other hard to clean items are not permitted. Rose petals must be swept up and placed in the trash cans prior to the end of your reservation. If doing a milk/bubble bath, the tub will need to be drained and wiped with cleaner prior to the end of your session. Larger items such as flower bouquets, empty bags of fast food must be placed in the larger trash can in the prop room. Items which have a strong odor (such as diapers) must be taken out of the studio. Dumpsters are located in the rear of the building.
  8. This is not a soundproof studio, and when using the facility there is a possibility of noise/distraction like music or speech.  Please keep the volume low enough for you to hear if someone is knocking (not banging) on the studio door.
  9. No smoking, paint, lacquer, or other sticky liquids allowed in the studio. Projects involved with smoke/fog/paint have to get studio representative’s consent.
  10. No one will be admitted who is drunk or under the influence of illegal substances.
  11. No modifying or altering the equipment, walls, ceiling, or other amenities on the premises without written consent.  This includes using paint, sticky substances, nails, screws, making holes, etc.
  12. No pets allowed without prior consent of a studio representative.
  13. All rental fees must be paid before the start of your booking.
  14. Cancellations of confirmed bookings will result in the following charges:
    • 72 hours or more prior to rental date: All prior payments refunded and no further payments due.
    • 48 to 72 hours prior to rental date: Fifty percent (50%) of total charges for the booking or rental due immediately.  A refund will be given for any amount made above this percentage already paid.
    • Less than 48 hours:  One Hundred percent (100%) of total charges for the booking or rental due immediately if not already paid.  No refunds given.
